"MISSION STATEMENT"
Our mission at First Presbyterian Church of Newark is to worship, love,
honor and glorify God, using Scripture as our authoritative guide.
Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, we will provide an atmosphere
that nurtures the members in the faith by sharing in worship, Bible
Study, prayer and fellowship.
We will present the Good News of Jesus Christ, encouraging people to
repent and accept Him as Savior, leading to a life of discipleship and
service.
By the authority, grace, and gifts given to each one of us, we seek to
fulfill Christ's mandate to reach out to a broken and fallen world.
